No. More. Drama.

And yes, as I typed that I thought of the Mary J. Blige song. haha

Anyway, we don't have any more dress drama! Yay!! Well that I know of at least. I think a few are still waiting to get theirs back from being altered, but for the most part we are good to go.

The dresses were definitely made a little snug in the hip area, so a lot of the girls had to have them taken out a little, but it was doable. So yay. Done and done.

BUT, we do have some MAJOR rain/weather drama!

Oh. Em. GEE!! Do we have some weather drama! I'm pretty sure it has rained everyday here for the last week or more. It's crazy nuts!! We have a thunderstorm/flood/tornado warning or watch everyday. It's awful! We've been lucky and haven't had any damage to our house or us or anything, but I do have a friend in Junior Women's League that had her entire roof torn off of her house in Poole, KY and their house was completely ruined! So scary and sad. Luckily they had a basement and made it down there just in time, so they are okay, but still, I can't even imagine having to go through that.

Everytime we've had warnings, Ty has either been at work or out of town (for his one last hoorah! His bachelor party. haha) so the cats and I retreat to our little downstairs half bath because it's the only room in the house without any outside walls.

Trust me, they don't like it anymore then I do...

(Like the toilet bowl cleaner back there?? haha I figured I might as well clean while I was stuck in there. A clean toilet was as far as it got though. :))

I hope everyone stays safe with all this crappy weather and that it ends very soon. If the rain keeps coming, I think people are going to have to come to the wedding in boats!!! ha!

Dress Drama

Oh man, do we have some bridesmaid dress drama going on.

Since I had to be difficult and have a charcoal grey taffeta dress, there weren't a ton of options. I wanted to get the bridesmaids dresses at the same place that I got my dress (so the girls could get 10% off) I only had certain designers to choose from. I finally found a dress that I liked that came in the right color AND let us change the fabric to whatever. So taffeta, here we come!

So we got all the dresses ordered in January and they finally came in this Monday. I had to pick up four of the dresses b/c 4 of the bridesmaids live out of town. Since Tonya and I are right about the same size, I tried hers on and boy is that sucker SNUG. Michelle tried hers on. SNUG. Danielle tried hers on. SNUG. When Michelle went in again yesterday to have Kelsey and Maddie try on theirs, she tried hers on again after it had been altered a little bit and it fits just fine now. She had them measure her hips again and they were exactly the same as when she was measured the first time. So it's not the girls. It's the darn dress.

Luckily, there's room to take them out, so hopefully everything will be fine, but still. It's STRESSFUL!!! haha Thank goodness we have a FEW weeks to get them all tweaked. Fingers crossed they work out. :) haha

The countdown has been on since July 2009...I can't believe it's 30 days away. I can't wait!!!!
