Peanut Butter Pie

MMMM...Peanut Butter Pie!

I made this for Ty for his birthday and it was SOOOO good!!!

So I thought I would share the recipe because I can't keep this yummy goodness to myself. I got the recipe from my friend Sarah and I used all low fat or reduced fat ingredients and it was amazing!

And it also made me feel less guilty licking the beaters and the bowl after I made it. :)

So here's the recipe. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
12 oz of whipped cream (I used Fat Free and accidentally only bought an 8 oz bowl, that's why my whipped cream doesn't look as thick. Use whichever you'd like. I think my turned out okay though)
8 oz of cream cheese (I used Fat Free)
1 cup of powder sugar
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1 cup of peanut butter (I used Reduced Fat Jif)
3 tsp of milk (I used about double of this. Just use enough so that it mixes well)
1 graham cracker crust

Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl except for the whipped cream with a mixer.

After you have everything blended nicely, add half of the whipped cream to the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.

Pour the mix in the pie crust, spread out evenly.

Then add remaining whipped cream on top of the peanut butter mixture.

Freeze until serving.

I'm a Traveling Girl.

So 2 Thursdays ago (I've been meaning to put this up for a while. whoops.), I met up with my best friends, Anne and Tonya, in Nashville for a girls weekend/road trip/concert extravaganza. :) haha.

We checked into a hotel Thursday night and got ready and went to a little bar called 3rd and Lindsley for a Tyrone Wells concert. Anne and Tonya have seen him before and loved him, so I wanted to see what he was all about. He was AMAZING! Very chill music, but so good. And he's really funny too! The concert was in this really fun little bar. It was a nice change from the BIG and extravagant concerts that I've gone to in the past (i.e. Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Carrie Underwood...)

This is the only picture I got from that night...

Oh, and this one too. Anne thought this looked like Ty with long hair. haha Ty didn't really think so...

We got up Friday morning and headed down to ATL! But first, we had to make a stop at Cracker Barrel. Of course, what's a road trip without Cracker Barrel. So after that, we were on our way...

With a dance party in the car. Duh.

Get it, girls!

And I sat innocently in the back seat. :)

KIDDING! You know I can't miss a dance party! :)

So, anyway, once we made it into Atlanta, after surviving some crazy rain, a wreck on the side of the road, and wonderful traffic, we stopped at Starbucks for some coffee and a little treat to wait for our wonderful host, Reese, to get home so we could INVADE his house and get ready for the concert.

After spending a few hours there and getting free donuts, Reese and his room mate were home, so we made our way over there. We got ready quickly and finally took some pictures together. We used to be way better at taking pictures, not sure what our problem is now... :(

Anne laughing...typical.
Creepy hand on shoulder, family picture...typical.

Random...typical.

In ATL (Anne. Tonya. Lindsay) position...PERFECTION!!!

So we left for the concert and saw this guy...

Matt Wertz. aka...the future Mr. Tonya Wirgau. :) haha

He was GREAT!!! and then Five For Fighting came out. and he was good too, but we really came to see Matt, so we left early. Got some burgers and fries at this place called Varsity. Amazingness. Then went back to Reeses' and went to bed.
Got up Saturday morning and had some incredible banana pancakes, bacon and coffee. (Sorry about using all your creamer, Reese) then headed back to Nashville and then back home to the fiance.
It was an incredible couple of days with my best friends! We may be a couple hundred miles apart, but at least it's not thousands. Right, girls?? :) LOVE YOU!!!!!!!

I Heart my DVR.

I have another obsession.

And it's TV. AH!
I used to have TV Tuesday:
90210: 7-8
The Biggest Loser: 7-9
and then The Hills or some other MTV show from 9-10.

Ridiculous. I know. I should be ashamed.

BUT...I'm not. I love TV. I do. It's my weakness.

And what's probably the worst of it, is that 95% of it is reality TV. EEK! Ty HATES reality tv. He thinks it's just stupid. So he always makes fun of me for watching them. ALWAYS.

Whatever. He has sports. I have TV. It works. ha!

So anyway, my TV Tuesday has now turned into TV Thursday. There are WAY too many shows on tonight that I like.

Here's the rundown:

American Idol: 7-8

Grey's Anatomy: 8-9

Project Runway: 9-10

The Real Housewives of Orange County (It's the finale tonight!): 9-10 as well.

The Real Housewives of New York (Season 3 Premiere): 10-11

As you can see, I have overlapping shows. This is where the DVR comes in. My lovely, wonderful little grey box of goodness. I don't know what I would do without it.
I heart you DVR. :)

I obviously do not plan on sitting down from 7-11 and watching TV. I'm not THAT ridiculous. I promise. But I do plan on at least seeing who got kicked of AI, watch all of Grey's and probably all of Project Runway. The Real Housewives can wait til tomorrow night.
Sounds like a good night, don't ya think? :)

I'm a VERY proud Aunt!

I should probably start in advance by apologizing to my niece, Kelsey, because I'm probably going to embarrass the heck out of her, but I just can't help. I'm just so proud of her!!!

Anyway, Monday night was the Middle School girls basketball Reserve and Varsity Championship games. Kelsey is on the Reserve team at Thompkins and they WON!!!

It's the first game I've been able to go to of Kelsey's since she's been playing at Thompkins, and I definitely picked the best game to go to. She played GREAT!! I think she came in second on her team for scoring the most points at 13 points! (I think the altogether they scored 36 or 38 points, so that's pretty darn good, Kels!)

Here's a video of Kelsey shooting a free throw. Sorry it cuts off so short, but the other one I had, I scream so incredibly loud that I might bust your eardrum. This one I cut off right before the screaming. :)

The Thompkins Reserve Girls Basketball team with their plaque!

And then I made her take a pic with me. :) (Sorry for my raggedy look, I had just come from Zumba!! ha!)

Way to go, Kelsey!!! I'm so proud of you!!!!! Love you!
