Weekend Update

Friday:


Ty and I were super lazy. We sat on the couch watching TV and playing on the internet until about 9. Then finally decided to go get some dinner at Subway. Came home and ate and went to bed not much longer after that. 


Saturday:


Slept in SUPER late - 11:30!!!! Holy Canoly!! Totally didn't mean to sleep that long but it felt good. Ty got up not much longer after me and went to Ohio County to play in a co-ed softball tournament, well one game. It was kind of gloomy outside and I had pretty much JUST woken up, so I didn't really feel like going to watch Ty play just one game. So I stayed home and let Izzy sleep on me for about an hour or so then finally got up and cleaned up the living room and kitchen and started on some laundry. Ty finally got home and we decided to run to Kroger to get some stuff to make Cavatini! So we came home and cooked dinner together and ate. It was nice and really good!! Then we just relaxed the rest of the night.


Sunday: 


Slept in until 11:30 again!! OMG!! I guess I was tired. I ate some breakfast and then decided to get some sun. So I put on a bathing suit and grabbed my Nook and some coffee and headed out back. I stayed out for about 2 hours. I came in and Ty was taking a nap, so I showered and then woke him up so we could hang out for a little bit before he had to go to work. He left and I finished my book and went to bed. It was a nice and chill weekend!!


And since the only pictures I took this weekend are of 2 of my 3 cats, the least I could do is share.

Weekend Wrap Up

Friday:


After work I ran to Kohl's to return some pants for Ty and I couldn't find the receipt so I got store credit, so I bought myself some new sunglasses. Cute, right?

After that, I ran to Walmart to get stuff to make Fruit Pizza for Easter at Ty's parents house. Then I went to Smoothie King to get Ty and I a big ole Strawberry Banana Smoothie. It was delish!! Finally got home around 8. Ty was trying to get ball cards listed on Ebay and I was taking pictures of the cards. Then we ordered a pizza and just chilled.


Saturday:


I got up around 8 and showered and cleaned up the house a bit. Mom and Gerry came over to bring us a console table from Gerald's. Woo hoo!! and to bring our Easter goodies since we aren't going there for Easter. Oh and the real reason they came, to see their little granddaugher, Izzy! :) haha We all sat around and talked and Ty made us some lunch. It was yummy! and then I enjoyed a yummy cupcake from Mom! Delish. They headed out around 1. It was a nice little visit!! Then Ty and I packed a bag and headed down to Bowling Green to Jeryn and Suzi's. We went with them and Justin & Susan, and Lindsey, KP and their little girl, Sydney to eat dinner at Mariah's. It was really good! It was good to see all of them as well! Then we headed back to Jeryn and Suzi's and watched videos of the show Impractical Jokers online. So funny!!!! We had a good time.


Sunday:


I got up at 7:30 and started making the fruit pizza. I made the cookie the night before, but I had to do the icing and the fruit that morning. So I didn't that and then showered and got ready and got Ty up and we headed to church with his family. It was a really nice service, as always! Then to his parents house for lunch. But first, Gracie wanted to take a picture with Ty and us. Love this picture!

Then we ate lunch and then Ty and his dad took naps (like always) and Anita, Gracie and I sat in the dining room and talked. Aunt Sharon came by for a little bit too. It was fun! It's always a good time with those ladies. I'm lucky to have married into a great family! :)


I finally woke Ty up at 4:30 so we could head home. I really wanted to go to Jeryn and Suzie's to pick up my toiletry bag and straightener that I left there, but that was like 2 hours out of the way, so I had to leave it. Crap! Izzy was pretty excited when we got home. Ty took a mini nap before he went into work and I laid on the couch and Izzy curled up on my legs. Love it!! How cute is she?

Such a great weekend! I'll take more like that EVERY weekend! :)

Little Izzabelle

I finally got to pick up Izzy today after her getting spayed and having her front leg amputated on Monday. Oh my goodness, I have missed this little baby!!! I called and checked on her yesterday and today and they said every time that she was doing great, so that made me feel better, but it was still hard knowing what she had gone through and that she's still going to be in a little pain for a little while. 

When I went to pick her up today after work, one of the ladies carried her out to me so I could see her leg, or where her leg used to be and her stitches. They actually looked MUCH better than what I thought they would. She was purring already and rubbing on my hand. Another girl came out to the front when they brought her up and she said she was really sad that Izzy was going home. Apparently, they all loved her there (which I can completely understand, she's such a sweetheart)! We love her too and are VERY happy that she is back home! Here are some pictures I took of her since we've been home tonight...

Weekend Update

Friday:

Ty was still off of work from when he went to Florida, so we decided to go get some dinner and run a few errands. We went to Salsarita's for dinner. It was good! Then we went to Game Stop and got a Sonic and Sega racing game for the Playstation3. haha so fun! Then we went to Shoe Carnival since it was friends and family weekend. Ty got some new tennis shoes, but I walked out empty handed. boo. I was really hoping to get some new sandals, but there just wasn't much to choose from. I miss store 3 that has everything!!! haha After that we went home and played the Playstation a little bit and then watched Straw Dogs. Not so good. Oh well.

This was Izzy asleep on the kitchen table Friday before we went to run our errands. Little fart, already just doing whatever the heck she wants!!

Saturday:


We both slept in which was really, really nice! Then we ran up to the gas station and got 15 bags of mulch for the backyard! All of this area took 14 bags! Geez, it just eats it up!! But it didn't take long to do and we think it looks pretty good!!!





After that, we returned the movies we rented and picked up a yummy grilled/smoked chicken that some place was selling by the gas station that we saw and smelled earlier when we were getting mulch. Then ran to Kroger to get some sides. Came back and started cooking those and we both showered then ate. Then we played some more Playstation! That game is so fun! and it drives me crazy that I cannot beat Ty at it. I'm just not very good at driving games, but they are so fun!

The kitties decided to take a little nap while we were playing. I couldn't find Baxter for the longest time and finally found him in Ty's laundry basket in the middle room. haha he's a mess!

And cute little Izzy, asleep on the computer chair. I just love her! (Lexie was on the back of the couch, I think, but I didn't get a picture of that little diva.)

After that, it was finally time for Kentucky to play. Ty was looking forward to this game ALL DAY and all week really!! He was definitely wound up before it started but once he did, he was a little intense!!!

Even more intense-ness...had to get a little closer to the tv!! haha Thank goodness they won!!! 

After the game, we ran to get ice cream!! haha we're terrible! We eat so bad when we spend the weekend together! haha oh well. It was Lic's, and it was delicious!



Sunday:


Slept in again. Started to do some laundry and then we went to Yellow Creek Park so Ty could hit some softballs with some guys from work. It was nice to get outside in this awesome weather, and I know ty enjoyed being out there! It's been 6 months since he's hit and he's missed it. It's going to be weird that he's not playing this summer. I know he'll still play league when he can and probably fill in a few weekends whenever some teams need him, but still, it's just crazy. That's what we've done every summer since I've known this boy...just crazy...Anyway, we left there and came back home and showered. We just hung out and relaxed. Then ran to Target so I could get my pills and then we stopped at Sonic to get burgers and limeades. (Yeah, totally not weighing in this week! haha wow!) We came back and ate and watched some tv. Ty laid down for a little bit and I laid on the couch. Then he comes running down telling me to change the channel. So I did and we laid on the couch together and watched Practical Jokers for like 2 hours! haha That show is funny!!!! Then Ty left for work and I've finished laundry and relaxed the rest of the night.
