Weekend Wrap Up

Friday:


I ran home to grab some things then headed to Evansville to go to my friend, Danielle's, to see her new house and for a pool party. The water was a little to chilly for me to get in, so I just hung out on the deck. We ate, sat around and chatted, played with the kids and just had a great time! Danielle, Stephanie, Amanda and I sat outside until 2:30 in the morning talking about all kinds of stuff. It was a blast! 


Saturday: 


Didn't sleep in as long as I wanted to, but that's okay. I got up and had a bowl of cereal and chatted with my mom and Gerry for a little bit then went to the mall to pick up my ring and look around Forever 21. No luck there. Boo. Finally got back to my parents to lay out on the lake with my mom. We did that for about 2 hours then ate some lunch and I got ready for a wrap party at my cousin's house. That went pretty well!! I dropped off my other cousin at home, then headed to Casino Aztar to meet Ty there to eat dinner. We just went to the buffet because I was starving and didn't want to wait on food. We finally got home around 9 and crashed not long after that.


Sunday:


Woke up and showered and headed to my dad's house to visit with him for father's day. My sister, Michelle, and two niece's were there already. We sat outside under a tree pretty much the whole day. It was so nice out! Dad took us on the Mule for a little drive in the woods and around the fields, he taught us how to hit some golf balls, I helped pick some green beans and feed the animals. Well I just rode around and watched them feed the animals, but still I was there. I had a really great day with my dad and I hope he did too!! Got home right in time to wake up Ty for work, watched a few shows and went to bed myself.

Weekend Wrap Up

Friday: 


Our little Baxter wasn't acting like himself, so after I got home, I went home and Ty and I were trying to diagnose what was wrong with him. We were afraid he ingested antifreeze or got into some sort of poison outside. But he wasn't getting sick and was still eating/drinking/pooing, so we didn't know what to do. We just gave him some love and watched him. We ran to Golf Plus and TJ Maxx quickly and then back home. Ty fell asleep on the couch around 6 and I painted my toenails and watched a little tv and went to bed semi-early too. 


Saturday:


We got up super early, like 6:30 and headed to Evansville. Ty was playing in a golf tournament at Cambridge Golf Club and my niece's 16th birthday party was that day at my parent's house. So since my sister was in town, we decided to go to Zumba with Heidi who used to teach at my old gym. She's awesome!! I miss her class and knowing her dances. Luckily, she did a few old one's that I somewhat remembered, but most of the time I felt kind of lost. Oh well, it was still super fun and I got a good workout in!

Then we ran to the mall to do a quick drop off of my ring (gotten get some loose stones un-loose) and exchange a shirt at Forever 21. Ran by the bank then back to Mom & Gerry's to shower and get ready for Kelsey's party. She had quite a some family and friends and family friends over. We grilled out and had some music and the sun, it was a great time! Ty finally made it about 5 after he WON the tournament! Woo Hoo!! I was so excited for him!! We sat around and ate some more and hung out then finally headed back to Owensboro around 8. He showered and met some friends at Beef O'Brady's for a little bit and I took a bath and fell asleep on the couch. I guess being in the sun wore me out. :)

Sunday:

Ty got up super early again to go play in a golf scramble for work and I slept in until 10. Ate some cereal, laid down on the couch to read a little and fell back asleep around 11:30 and slept until 1 when Ty got home. We hung out for a little while, just lounging around and then decided to lay back down around 6:30. haha I have no idea what my deal was, I was just tired, I guess. :) Ty got up for work around 8:45 and I watched some tv and went back to bed. 

Weekend Wrap Up

Friday:


Ty was in Dayton, OH for softball, so after work I ran to Ulta to get some makeup and hair stuff. Then looked around in JoAnn's and TJ Maxx. Then headed over to Burkes Outlet in the mall and got a cute little basket and OJ glass jar to put on the table next to the front door. I think it looks pretty good there. Please ignore the shoes underneath...it's a losing battle and that's our compromise. :)

Finally got home around 7 and ate some dinner. Cleaned up the living room a little and then Facetimed with my mom and Gerry. It was fun! The kitties chit chatted too. haha We're such dorks. 


Saturday:


I got up a little after 8 and headed to the gym to go to Zumba. Ran a quick errand to Kmart after work to get a few random things. Came home and picked up around the house a bit and hung up these little candle holder things that I bought MONTHS ago. I think they look good there! 

I went outside and cleaned off the white lawn chairs that M & G gave me a few weeks ago and a lounge chair that my super nice neighbor gave me too! I love free things! :) I picked up some sticks and pulled some weeds in the back yard too. It looks a little better than what it did. It will look GREAT when we get the fence fixed!!!! Came in and ate some lunch and started reading and took a little nap. Got up and showered and M & G came over. They visited with the cats while I finished getting ready and then we went downtown to El Toribio for some dinner. It was really yummy, but the service was super slow!! We finally got out of there around 8 and ran to the liquor store to get a little margarita mix for Mom & I and Gerry got Bloody Mary mix. We came home and made us a drink and sat out back and talked for a little bit. I had a TERRIBLE headache and it took a while for it to go away. We came back inside for a little bit and they headed home around 10. It was a really nice visit!! I'm glad they came over, otherwise I probably just would have sat at home on my couch with my cats and watched tv. haha 


Sunday: 


Decided to just chill inside and do some laundry. I needed to get MY laundry done! I think I had 3 weeks worth in my laundry basket. Ridiculous! I decided to make No Bake Cookies that I had been craving for about 4 days! haha They were so yummy! Ty finally got home around 3:30, so we hung out and I made some dinner and finished folding and hanging up my laundry. We decided to lay down around 6:30 since he had to work that night. He got up about 10 til 9 to go to work and decided to get up and read. I was afraid if I stayed in bed that I would be up at like 4 in the morning. Thankfully, I wasn't, but that's probably because I didn't fall asleep until after midnight! Geez louise!!
