Potato Soup!

A few weeks ago, I got a recipe exchange email where you send it to a bunch of people and put your name under the person's name who sent it to you and then whoever they send it to will send you a recipe. Well I got quite a few really good recipes that I want to try and one of them I did try. Potato Soup. And oh my goodness, it was delicious!! And that's not just me saying it. Ty loved it! And his friend Sammy was in town to hunt and he tried it and loved it too! So I thought I'd share the recipe in case anyone would want to try it too. :)

I will warn you, it's not a "healthy" recipe, but who cares, it's GOOD!!

Ingredients:
6-7 large potatoes
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 stick butter
8 oz cream cheese
¾ c milk
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Cut up potatoes and fill pan with just enough water to cover them. Bring to a boil and cook until tender. Drain any water if necessary.

Stir in rest of ingredients and cook until all melted. (I set my cream cheese and butter on the stove so that it got kind of melted).

And that's it! It's ready to eat!!

The girl I got the recipe from said she puts shredded cheddar cheese and bacon bits on top, but I forgot that. It was good without it. :)

This past Sunday Mom and I went to a Bridal Show in Evansville at the Centre. It was pretty good. I got some information and a lot of business cards and of course signed up to win all kinds of stuff. Haven't heard if I've won anything yet, but we'll see.

So anyway, I drove back home Sunday after the Bridal Show and after stopping at the mall (got 2 shirts from New York and Co. for 70% off. Bargain shopper, right here. :) ) and another stop at Sonic for a half-price Strawberry Limeade. MMMmmm...

Anyway...

Back to the point of this blog. :)

So I get back into O-town and pull into my driveway open up my car door and hear Ty's voice.

Very loudly.

Outside.

Across the street.

With the neighbor boys.

Playing football. :)

LOVE IT!!!

So, I put my stuff inside and grabbed my camera. I had to document it. :) It was really cute. One of the boys, Jordan, who lives right next door, LOVES Ty. I mean, L.O.V.E.S him! Ty's given him a bunch of his old baseball cards, so it's a bribed love, but love nonetheless. :) Anyway, while they were playing football, Ty started calling Jordan, Jay. So now the other boys call him Jay too. Just cute.

Oh yes, he's barefoot. And he was a sweaty mess too. But he had fun!

Holy November!!

I can't believe it's November already. Craziness!!!

So I bought some new decor for my kitchen a few weeks ago. I've been wanting to put stuff above the cabinets for a while, but just hadn't gotten around to getting anything. So I finally did! yay!

I've had the candle in the middle and the placemats for a while, just got the napkins and napkin holders. So cute. I think I need a new centerpiece now though...
